Dragos is a seasoned investment professional with an extensive track record in global public and private equities. A Senior Advisor to select Mosaic strategy clients, Dragos also serves in senior advisory roles with Madrid-based Axon Partners, Hamburg-based Digital Transformation Capital Partners, and as a portfolio manager with Portland Investment Counsel in Toronto.

Previously, Dragos spent 17 years at Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan (OTPP) in Canada. As Director, Global Active Equities Group at OTPP, Dragos was responsible for global coverage of the technology, media and telecom, and industrial sectors and also managed a global long/short strategy with $1 billion in assets. He was a member of the Investment Committee of the Global Active Equities Group, which oversaw the management of a global concentrated long only strategy with $6 billion of capital.

Born and raised in Romania, Dragos moved to Canada in 1995. He holds an undergraduate degree in engineering from Transylvania University in Romania, an M.B.A. with a finance specialization from the University of British Columbia, and a Directors’ Education Certificate from the Rotman School of Business at the University of Toronto. Dragos is also a CFA charter holder.
